After graduating with an M.A. in English and very little desire to teach Freshman Comp, I was fortunate to be hired on at Dark Star Visuals, a deadhead boutique and bead shop in Fayetteville, Arkansas. I learned a lot about jewelry design--from the basics to wire-wrapping to macrame and more. That was 12 years ago and while I have traveled the country and worked other jobs, I've maintained a great love of bead-work. When I opened my Etsy shop in March of 2011, I wasn't sure how it would all turn out, but five years later, my online art business is really booming. I am consistently supported by my wonderful husband, Stone, and together we are making our at-home business work very well for us. I'm enjoying a complete submersion in my craft and am doing what I love to do. I hope that everything I create communicates that love and shares it with everyone who wears a GypsyLamb jewelry piece. Please follow me on Instagram @gypsy_lamb to view my gallery!
